Show HN: Banana.dog – Back from the dead as a tool directory

So today is April 1st — Fool's Day — and what better day to revive a dead domain? Welcome back, banana.dog.

It used to be a Mastodon server, but now it’s being reborn as a directory for tools — weird, useful, indie, personal projects, whatever fits.

On a more serious note: I built certdecoder.com, and when I tried to submit it somewhere, I realized there weren’t many good directories left that would even accept it. So I figured... screw it, I’ll build my own directory. With blackjack and hookers.

Obviously, it’s not fully ready. But is there a better day to launch something half-baked and weird than Fool's Day?

So here it is: banana.dog

Let me know what you think. And yes, I might not accept every submission — but as long as banana.dog is alive, there will always be a FREE option to list your tool.

Show HN: Simple Certificate Decoder Tool

Sometimes I need to quickly check certificates, especially key details like SANs, expiration dates, issuer info, etc.

I know there are dozens (if not hundreds) of certificate decoders out there already, but I built my own—mostly for fun, but also because I prefer tools that are clean, simple, and straightforward to use.

Would appreciate your feedback!
