I don’t mind if the pay is low as long as there is some equity involved, or even a mix of both. Are there any other job platforms or should I approach startup by myself ? I’m trying to find a role where I can use that experience while also learning more about the startup side.

If you are a startup, how would you respond to that?

I have 4+ years of experience working with React and Next.js, and also react native, node.js I’ve been doing contract work for quite a while, and I’m looking for something more involved before going back to regular corporate work.

Are there startups working in this kind of setup, or any specific places where people usually find these kinds of roles?

I’m curious if there are any startups out there looking for founding members or early team members.

I want to gain experience in a risk-taking product environment, where I can work in my own way, learn about the market, and also get a chance to explore my own ideas.

Right now, it honestly feels like a lost cause. I don’t really want to join another corporate ladder, but if there’s no one looking for this kind of role, maybe I should just take a simple job. I’m trying here once before I give up.

Even in HN who is hiring thread, most are bug companies and looking for US only.

I do have some experience working with reactnative in specific functionalities for health app as well.

Other than that, working on 2 projects:

1. KitchenCue: Smart cooking assistant. Always had the problem of what to cook. AI suggests options based on your preferences, locality, and pantry, what you can make.

2. Sci-fi editor: Even though sci-fi tells the most futuristic stories, the tools are just meh? I am trying to make something so you don’t have to worry about timeline and physics inconsistencies. It will help you with science and histories.

In mean time I have started writing customized story for people. Where I ask some question, let them tell about events, and I turn it into a good story, or personalized message, if anyone here wants to try, do let me know. Still in early phase so free of cost, let's see how it goes.
