Have you tried to sell millions of dollars worth of bitcoin to USD? As soon as there is a down day the exchanges shutdown and stop people from trying to withdraw. The money to cash out billions doesn't exist. All these headlines of founders being billionaires is false. $1.5 billion fake USD pumped crypto. Good luck to anyone holding millions of dollars trying to cash out when the market turns downward. This is adult musical chairs. There will be millions of bag holders and rich exchange criminals.

The liquidity to sell to fiat is drying up after many are realizing the valuations for crypto are completely fraudulent. There is an astronomical amount of centralized crypto printing going on that has corrupted the entire crypto ecosystem. Tether just wrote in their legal terms that as a of January 1st tether can't be redeemed or used by Americans even though it backs USD. Corrupt exchanges inflated the prices and issued worthless tokens to buy bitcoin then sell it to main street. This is Bernie Madoff x 10,000.

Anyone else think that suffering is the means to the end. Eventually through enough suffering, such as climbing a mountain (or building a country) then suffering diminishes. Won't the end game be like Elysium in thousands of years of suffering?

I reported a website for human trafficking a year ago, which is still online and protected by cloud flare. I referenced parts of the forum to their staff where users mentioned enjoying raping women. Their response, "I don't see anything wrong with this content".

I don't see the purpose of landing people on Mars. Just to say, "we did it". Wouldn't it be a much more rewarding goal to research and execute systems that could send humans one way to planets in our galaxy. Even seeding organisms on other planets in the hope that they evolve into intelligent life.

This is a joke. The keys are generated not stored. And searching your own private key would be very stupid, since the service can log all searches and then steal your bitcoin (if they wanted to).

Western Union has also been aiding international fraud from romance scammers etc. Even though they know the sources are suspicious they still let people send large amounts of money to countries like Ghana and Nigeria.

Would it not be under the authority of a privately owned building to regulate their own Wi-Fi or radio signals?

For example, a movie theatre, airport or hospital could all have good reasons to block radio signals.

I see a lot of comment saying "the USA cannot do this x,y,z because we don't have oil money to back it". USA is in the top three oil producers now at 10 million barrels a day. Yes even that won't cover the total cost for free health care or free education, but that is still a huge amount of money. More importantly, the amount of money the US government has wasted could have paid for the above. Trillions of dollars have been burned on Quantitative Easing and other ridiculous stimulus. And the result was over capacity in oil production and debt that can never be repaid. Instead of hundreds of billions burned, the US government could have given every unemployed individual a whole new education.
