Nobody would launch an actual payload on the initial flight, and they had to do 3 successful launches to satisfy the USAF´s NSSL requirements before they could launch very profitable payloads for them.

The Roadster was Musks personal vehicle, so Tesla didn't pay for that either.

The reason for you only seeing spam from the larger providers is that they are filtering out everyone else.

They should also deal with the individual accounts etc, but thats the difficult problem.

I have never made a purchase via Framework and still got the email from them. Probably because I once put in my data to see final shipping and import costs.

Crew Dragon can do 7 astronauts, but NASA only wanted SpaceX to build it for 4.

The contingency for the Starliner astronauts in case of an emergency was to strap them down in the cargo area. Which wouldnt be optimal, but better than certain/likely death onboard the ISS.
