I looked at a bounty the nextcloud project posted [1] and felt overwhelmed with the source code. I'm thinking a properly managed RoR project would be more accessible to extern contributors.

Might I ask how (as in which platform/bank/etc) you shorted NKLA stock?

I tried shorting it on alpaca.markets, although on a paper trading account, with no luck: "asset NKLA cannot be sold short".

The Problem seems to be that the hackers planted a backdoor in early 2020.

So, the security hole was actually patched shortly after release of the security patch.
