Why not ask your AI to review their AI slop?
It feels like a new age version of “that which can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.” Basically, “that which can be sent without thought can be responded to without thought.”

I don’t think it matters so much if LOM are better at offensive security or defensive security. I think offensive security was previously an extremely niche skill set (how many people off the street would be able to solve even a few CTF problems 5 years ago?).
Now anyone can point an LLM at any software they want and say go to town. Even if it doesn’t do a great job or better than a good human or anything like that it’s so much more than what they could do before, and a lot of security vulnerabilities are kind of low hanging fruit anyway.

I’m not gonna comment on if it’s a good idea or not, but the US government could make it illegal for any financial institution that does business in America interacting with crypto.
They could also make it illegal for any US financial institution to do business with any financial institution that interacts with crypto.
They could probably also make it a crime to buy/sell crypto in America.

Well that’s not his primary job. It’s an extra task he’s doing at his job. At a non-tech company with small/horrific engineering components, someone in the business who can do any programming (or vibeing) is indistinguishable from magic.

He is at once many times more valuable than ever before to his company, but also far more dangerous than ever before.
