How does any random law enforcement officer pull up the footage from your cameras when ever they want check you aren't breaking the law?

Rings surveillance network and the huge network of private CCTVs has shown even with video evidence cops refuse to do their job if nobody is dead. If you get a package stolen in apartment complex, the PMs won't let anyone but police see the footage and the police will not come out to view the footage. Cameras stopped being a deterrent when criminals realized there are no consequences when they are caught on camera.
The police will however stalk and harass their partners, people they personally dislike, etc because they can view the footage at their leisure.

I personally recommend against investing in this app. It was great many years ago, but updates slowed to about once a year at best, often longer. Sites broke, the author ruined markdown support, so embedded videos were broken.
There are just also free options that do a better job. I personally use Mealie, but have also heard good things about Tandoor. The export option worked well enough to get into Mealie and I never looked back.
I do miss how good it was at converting between different measurement sizes though.

What flaws exactly?
People on here love to moan about Firefox because Mozilla did one thing at some point in the existence of the company they didn't like. But then just cede the Internet to Google and chromium clones because at some point when they were a crappy junior JS dev, Chrome had some better tooling over Firebug so they just got used to testing in one browser. Maybe they also like to remember how Firefox, a decade ago, couldn't handle 1000 tab sessions.
I hope Firefox keeps up the fight but HN loves to crap all over them for not being perfect.

The experience now is definitely worse but even back in the early 2000s, owners tracked drive thru service order times and the managers constantly reminded us of this.
I didn't know it at the time, since it was my first job, but they got bonuses based on how fast they could make us work to fulfill those orders during certain times of the day. A backed up drive thru line would always get faster treatment than in store customers. Unless it was a special case, like a bus kid of field trip kids. I assume in those situations the managers could argue for their bonus based on the large amount of sales they got in store.
They obviously didn't share those bonuses with us.

But they also fund JetBrains, Jetpack Compose, and KMP. It feels like the company threw their support behind Kotlin a long while ago on mobile, but internal struggles keep the others limping along. Compose UI tooling no longer requires viewing on device.

Your Internet points on the leaderboard do not make you a moderator on the site. But farming points is easy if you selectively reply to or make decisive comments. It's a pattern for most of the leader board if you actually look into what they reply to https://news.ycombinator.com/leaders
https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uBOL-home/wiki/Frequently-as...
You could have found that link in 30 seconds on Google if you actually wanted to know

The point is that your anecdote has opposing obvious data from the literal creator backing it up that the solution you are using is inferior, even if you personally think its fine. Lots of people browse the internet with ads on and think its fine too. Everyone else can use their eyes and read why and see its inferior so your anecdote is as pointless as a home remedy.
>Edit
Comment history suggest these kind of replies is the point of the account, maybe it is true maybe its not

The only reason anyone knows about the switch between manifest 2 and 3 is that the only meaningful difference is the crippled ad blocking ability. Nobody knows any other difference unless they are an extension developers or worked on making the Internet a worse place.

Nix sounded great, but actually trying to use it for personal use felt like a constant time sink. LLMs made it seem like their bespoke language could be side stepped and one could get all the benefits of the ideas without the time sink. But now they have drama, so I hope someone runs with the idea but for humans and possibly LLMs.
