Brave and it is not even close. Only browser where I do not need to adjust privacy settings out of the box. On Firefox I need to go hunt for flags...

Just turn off crypto stuff and off you go. Brave Origin will fix that.

Reddit link via share button not working anymore?

Never used Reddit app, I only ever used Reddit via web browser. Wanted to share a Reddit post via Share Sheet on Android but it refuses to copy URL. Tried bith Brave and Vanadium on Android. It is only website like that, I tested several of them.

Usually I would assume it was a bug but there are too many "bugs" that nerf a website as they keep recommending app for better experience.

Did anyone else experience same?

No need. Use GhrapheneOS without Google services. It is like dumb phone with modern browser.

Brave. Good defaults out of the box unlike Firefox where you need to fiddle with bunch of flags.

There is no extensions on FF for iOS, no adblocking. It's just Safari skin.

Google Maps no longer usable on mobile devices

I do not have Google apps installed on my phone. I rarely use any of them other than occasionally Maps and Search. I use them as websites exclusively. If you try to search something on Maps you will be redirected to App Store to download the app. Mobile page is no longer functional.

Workaround at the moment is switching to desktop view. They will probably stop that too.

Internet is getting worse day by day it seems...

EDIT: Using iPhone (iOS 18.1). Tested both Safari and Brave. No VPN and I'm located in EU.

EDIT 2: Got accused for click bait. Not my intent but I'm unable to change the title now. That being said, Google Maps is just a website and as any website, in my opinion should be accessible on any device.

In hospitality you can still do things in person. Try printing CV and visit some pubs/restaurants asking them do them are they currently looking for employee. At least your CV will circumvent usual CV queue.

Doesn't that refer to personal data only? If you did not provide personal info to HN, would GDPR still apply?
