Social media's entire income model is finding out who you are to advertise more accurately. Facebook knows your age down to the day, and if they ask for ID this is them taking even more data.

The issue as I see it is that these searches are run when testers look for them, not on a regular basis. If Facebook can detect them, why let them be displayed in the first place?

I have ahrefs blocked from accessing my webserver as they don't consistently respect robots.txt. I suggest everyone do the same.

I'm only suggesting it because calling my ISP and asking for a static IP + an open port is a hassle. It's only a way to forward ports

I'd recommend, unfortunately, buying a cheap $200 netbook and running cloudflare tunnel on it. As long as you're relying on other people's computers for hosting you'll keep looking forever

The quote does say that Altium does it out of the box though? With KiCad you had to write a script and learn how the format works. Could also be introduced as a patch to upstream and have everyone benefit from it, but that's less time spent working on the circuit

A smaller ad company can afford to have customer support. If there are tens or hundreds then each one can lose customers, better than one massive company that doesn't care or can't afford and would rather keep the money than pay for support.
