no programming it's still just tool use for CRUD applications with react and tailwind
complex systems programming is just so unreliable and foolish to use LLMs to do anything important
companies adopting it for more safety critical systems are just already seeing the problems pile on and we're seeing news about it almost every day on Hacker News
If the tool can make something look smart but isn't necessarily correct, lazy employed humans will just defer to it, especially when their lazy greedy bosses tell them to, and everybody loses over time (except the stakeholders that just jump companies anyway after they made their money)
It's just sad to see these really unwise and inexperienced sentiments repeated ad nauseam

Yeah that's true.
I think it's all bad and counter-productive toward a stable society though. I think economic sacrifices likely have to be made to ensure long-term viability. What we're doing now is accelerating the demise of everything. The entire planet even.

Pretty sure cheap foreign labor is more prevalent now than ever at every major tech company.
They really, really do not want to spend money. Especially not on Americans and their health insurance.
It's really strange how we're just letting them get away with this. They're on a fast trajectory toward putting Americans completely out of work and without aid, even though they're American companies first and foremost.

Let's not ignore the entirety of reality and what has been going on for the last few years to defend a pestilence on mankind you probably have stock invested in. Just either intentionally or unintentionally astroturfing.
Thanks.

This isn't really a thing. You can't create an accurate 4K image from a low res JPG. Owners and managers who don't touch code don't know shit and have to go to the developers to learn about important decisions made in the application and how they work in detail.

The difference people are neglecting to point out is the experiences we have versus the experiences the AI has.
We have at least 5 senses, our thoughts, feelings, hormonal fluctuations, sleep and continuous analog exposure to all of these things 24/7. It's vastly different from how inputs are fed into an LLM.
On top of that we have millions of years of evolution toward processing this vast array of analog inputs.

They won't ever give agents the ability to actually do things for customers that can impact the company in some kind of negative fashion. At least not willingly.
That's sort of the whole point of talking to customer service though. Getting something done that you want that involves them having to do work for you. AKA you taking value from the company.
So yeah they're basically always going to be useless garbage if put together according to business requirements.
Other services should just be automated already.
