Through many phases of using tmux, from bare bone to rocking 200-line config not counting 40 packages installed by a package manager, then back to 20 lines .tmux.conf, I'm tired. Tmux is great. Outside of control codes, I don't have any problems since tmux makes it easy to fix them. Except that I'm stuck with it while I watch a super star programmer dude switch to his 4th Konsole window to create his 21st tab and wonder how can I shave off this dependency.

It crashed my Fedora 43 installation (maxed out CPU and RAM) right after installing from .rpm. After reboot it can't even load plasmashell. I'm typing this after booting into a Fedora 42 backup. 42!

and none of them pass the hallucinated CI pipeline. I don't know if I want to drive flying cars if there's no guarantee of it not exploding in midair.

Firefox certainly did this [Firefox release engineering](https://aosabook.org/en/v2/ffreleng.html) but at one point, having >100 almost identical executables (with the text swap out) for each version would eventually got on some nerves.

Was it MSI Dragon Center? Few years ago I reinstalled the OS and had to scour the earth for the app for that specific model so it can turn off the keyboard backlight and remap some buttons. Now the screen broke and it's running as a Linux server, and guess whose backlight is turn on all day, everyday?

I'm sure many Japanese watching the Pearl Harbor movie didn't want the American pilots to survive after nuking 2 cities either.

Poe's Law is in effect when the thread is a hair away from getting political. I thought it was obvious that the commenter is joking based on the oblivious tone, and because this is HN.

Terraform is great but it's so frustrating sometimes. You just pray that the provider has a specific configuration of whatever resources you're working with, because else when them resources are up on multiple env then you'll have to edit those configs somehow.
