Does this also apply to gemma's 26B-A4B vs say Qwens 35B-A3B?
I'm not sure if I can make the 35B-A3B work with my 32GB machine

If there is objective, complete data available to all consumers, who are not influenced by all sorts of other means to choose.
Right now it's a race to the bottom - who can get away with the worst service. So they're motivated to be able to prevent bad press etc.
The whole system is broken. Just take a look at the 41 countries with higher life expectancy.

The prosperity gap has shrunk quite a lot, and these trends are broadly in the right direction since ~1990:
https://blogs.worldbank.org/en/opendata/updated-estimates-pr...
For extreme poverty progress has recently slowed down, the trend there is still positive but very slow - improvement there is needed.

Origin
early 17th century (as school slang, in the sense ‘Friday on which an examination is held’). The shopping sense dates from the 1960s and was originally used with reference to congestion created by shoppers; it was later explained as a day when retailers’ accounts went from being ‘in the red’ to ‘in the black’.

This is undesirable in the same way shipping water via trucks is a lot less efficient than using pipes.
For some use cases where electricity doesn't work, trucks with e.g. methane could work. For everything else it's just way to inefficient to convert, store, transport and then convert it again.
Same issue with hydrogen - from source to force applied in a car, it's 22% efficient, compared to 79% for an EV.

We are already working hard on this: .nl is the country with the lowest average CO2 emmissions per new car sold in the EU (and thus also nitrogen most likely). We're finally building decent amounts of wind turbines (still a shame that we dutch don't lead in this).
However, farming emissions have plateaued: https://www.rivm.nl/sites/default/files/2022-06/Grafiek%20Em...

Could play to the end in Firefox without issues.
(Well, can't close the info screen after opening it, only way I could get rid of it was reloading the page which resets progress. Other than that worked fine)

Gaming. Though that's usually not done at 100% brightness. IIRC my mbp with geforce 750 came with a 90W adapter, but that would also not be enough when running the 45W CPU and the 35-40W GPU at max with ram and screen power usage.
