The hardest part for browser development has always been "artificial" web compatibility, as you know a lot of websites are forcefully blocking specific browser from loading, only allow Chromium to load their websites, that is the reality check for Ladybird, and seriously what stopping new web browsers from being able to compete, same with DRM Widevine, it's REALLY hard to acquire (unobtainiumware) for new browser, even big browser like Zen Browser with 10M users failed to acquire it

Thanks for your replying, it's great to know that you're very open to see what Firefox forks are doing.
And I guess threads like this is a great place to gather user opinions.
I think in this thread, people did talk about Split View a lot (link: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=41306665), can you talk to the team about this feature ? Considering it's getting a lot of comment, people seem to want it a lot.

It's called Sideload XPI, iirc Firefox Nightly allows you to sideload XPI if you enable Experimental by tapping Firefox logo in About 7 times.
But it's easier with Ice Raven or Smart Cookie Web Preview:

Not impossible, at all.
The answer is Firefox Nightly or Firefox Developer, you're freely to install unsigned addons in these editions.

And it's sad that hackers are still using MV3 to write malware extensions, then what is the point of improving non-existence security ?
https://adguard.com/en/blog/chrome-manifest-v3-where-we-stan...
> Is it true that Manifest V3 will increase privacy and security of the browser?
> Honestly, I wouldn’t say so. I see the advantages of MV3 in terms of unification, cross-platform compatibility, and performance, but *I don’t see any advantages in terms of increasing user security, unfortunately*. *The amount of scam extensions in the Chrome Web Store remains high despite the fact that it has been a long time since the store stopped accepting non-MV3 extensions.*
And what, people are more likely to get virus from Google Ads or Ads overall than those improved security:
https://old.reddit.com/r/Buttcoin/comments/10fi01q/nft_gods_...
https://old.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/17p68i7/set_networ...

I truly love this browser, it's like Firefox+Edge/Opera but still remains fast:
- Most of Floorp's features are native, so unlike addons they won't slow down Floorp by much
- Vertical Tab being native makes it faster than anything else
- Sidebar is useful for multi-tasking
- Sleeping Tab saves system resource, and it's light for an tab unloader
- Workspace is like Panorama, very useful to create multiple work environments, and plus you can wrap them in containers to get the most out of Firefox's container feature
- Customizable hotkey is useful to rebind your hotkey, improve keyboard browsing experience, one of the rare browser that support hotkey rebinding.
