disagree. you don’t care if your task was solved by 130 iq or 160iq model.
what matters is that it surpassed let’s say basic 120iq barrier and price
that’s why glm5.2 is a drop in replacer for most of the population. not fable 5 really

also docker is an interesting example. bc its so hard to earn money on it being such a deep commodity you can not close source

Metaphor i like is that it will be as cheap as electricty?
Do you know who is supplying your electricity or which factory it runs on? probably no, bc its a commodity and mostly settled and there is so many energy resources. some are alternative some are coal mines. And they all fight in the supply demand trade for energy which is happening real time ( think open router here)
And eventually the consumer wins bc of the abundance.
I think greatest example of abundance of cheap infinite intelligence will be not glm5.2 but DeepSeek V4 Pro max with $0.435 per 1M input tokens and $0.87 per 1M output tokens

I would respectfully disagree on this. How i write tests right now I ask claude/codex to create an eval and it just spins up a bg LLM agent worker which verifies the tests in the sandbox/internally.
So i would say that atm in house testing is easier than external testing for us

Very nice! The thing I am missing is turn detection. In real time audio we need the turn detection to understand when AI should speak. Unfortunately this makes it not a complete deepgram replacement yet!

Have just tried it. Impressive. We are definitely moving into this space
Questions what are the main differences between you and anam.ai ?
They also do real time lip sync plus looks like they are cheaper. Do you optimise for price or quality?
And do you focus on lipsync or full movement etc?

Context of personal computer is very interesting. My bet here would be that once you can talk to other people personal context maybe inside the organisation you can cut many meetings.
And more science fiction, if you connect all different minds together and combine all knowledge accumulated from people and allow bots to talk to each and create new pieces of information by collaboration this could lead to a distributed learning era
Counter argument would be that people are on average mid IQ and not much of the greatest work could be produced by combining mid IQ people together.
But probably throwing an experiment in some big AI lab or some big corporation could be a very interesting experiment to see an outcome of. Maybe it will learn ineficincies, or let people proactively communicate with each other.

At this point in time I start to believe OAI is very much behind on the models race and it can't be reversed
Image model they have released is much worse than nano banana pro, ghibli moment did not happen
Their GPT 5.2 is obviously overfit on benchmarks as a consensus of many developers and friends I know. So Opus 4.5 is staying on top when it comes to coding
The weight of the ads money from google and general direction + founder sense of Brin brought the google massive giant back to life.
None of my companies workflow run on OAI GPT right now. Even though we love their agent SDK, after claude agent SDK it feels like peanuts.
