We develop back-end infra related to data streaming (think Kafka). Our main processing engines are written in Java. The control plane uses Lambdas, we are moving those to rust now.

We use it at scale in different systems. We are moving away from it in our serverless functions due to the cold start times. Other, less latency sensitive services are OK.

I dont know your situation, but applying to 3 jobs a day on avg is not that much. When I was trying to find a job my avg was closer to 30

That depends on the application. Maybe I have 1TB of json files in S3 and I want to compute an aggregate value from one of its fields.

Do you think Anthropic or OpenAI will eventually try to crack down on routing harnasses? Provide a more vertically integrated experience? They are already trying ro ship hardware products.
