I feel like, if cars will significantly improve security, ultimately we the customers will pay the price for it in terms of more expensive cars. But then again I agree that this should be addressed.
It's like someone points out a problem, and then you stick your head in the sand and wait for things go away - or just let others deal with your issues. It's simply not the right approach.

The question here is how to break out of it. If you go to Bing for example you fall under Microsoft hood, which isn't really solving the problem.

This is all cool, but after first reading the article I got the feeling that the whole world is affected by this, no matter the location which doesn't make sense. In the Scandinavian countries (Sweeden, Finland, etc.) there weren't any Nuclear tests or detonations. I imagine most of steel there should be Low -background even today. Or am I missing something?

I think this is to be expected. Of course, cancer rates will rise, global population is rising like crazy. More people consume more "junk" food than ever, so naturally this leads to more problems like obesity and cancer. At the same time, pollution and other environmental factors are on the rise as well, and these also contribute to health problems.

I think it might not be completely unrealistic, after all, the goal of the Chips act is to support, to promote investments in the semiconductor industry. There are currently 7 factories in construction and 8 more in planning stages. This info is from December 2022, so by now I will assume something is already finished or in the final stages and possibly more plans have been made.
Also, setting high goals might not be a bad thing, even if you don't reach them you might still get far and do enough change to make a significant impact on something.

I'm also doing the 16/8 IF schedule, but I honestly don't feel like I am able to enter ketosis. However, I do have better sleep and I would say more energy. It also helps me to limit "junk" intake.
