I am in exactly the same spot you're in. I have two phone numbers available to me and neither is accepted. However, I have a different take on it: Hanlon's Razor says "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity." This being the federal government in 2026, I think it's more likely that bureaucratic incompetence at play.

I've been thinking about how ISO-9000 will be reconciled with LLMs? Will businesses abandon their ISO-9000 certifications in favor of "We use AI" or will ISO-9000 adapt in some way to the "need" for LLMs?

While I'm slaloming between and around potholes and recessed man hole covers, my Accord keeps popping up a "Lane Departure" warning. After a couple hours of this, it will pop up a picture of a coffee cup, hinting that I need break and dose of caffeine. When this happens, I kind of wish the program knew I was avoiding hazards, not driving impaired. I hope this is part of Honda's pothole software.

IMO, I don't think you should necessarily master it, but you should learn it. While I'm sure there is a better language to choose for almost any task, what you learn from Haskell will make you a better programmer in most other languages. In my case, I learned Haskell while I was a using C++ in my job, and my code improved as a result.
