Libya is and always was a small tribal state that Gadhafi held together by using the revenue from oil to devise a system of alliance that gave a semblance of stability. It never had strong foundations to begin with. Libya and the states in the Arabian peninsula will always be played over because they're stuck in Bedu culture.

In your last point, wasn't that just Miley pandering to the US and Israel ?

Bombing an Embassy/Consulate is a direct attack on sovereign territory according to international law, so technically Israel started first, but I agree, it's splitting hair, both sides attacked each other in various ways, via proxies, sabotage, killing scientists, economic damages, sanctions long before any of this happened.

We spent the last 30 years showing deference to good old Uncle Sam, sometimes back-stabbing other member states in the process. How would we ever have the nerves to do something of this scale with all the cooperation, supply chain logistics and engineering complexity that this would involve ?

When Nazi Germany was occupying the rest of Europe, it also labelled any inside movement of resistance as Terrorism. International law recognizes both occupation and colonization as crimes. Labeling and merging the Palestinians into a single entity called "the terrorists" is a lazy attempt to deny the legitimate claim for freedom and self-determination of an indigenous populations.

Unironically, I think this is one of the "main benefits" that the disconnected people in places of power seems to covet. They won't have a human operator that will do their dirty jobs and potentially leaks the truth out of guilt.

The lifecycle emission of an electric car is on average a total of 10T of C02-equivalent. Contrast that the ~40T with a fuel-powered gas or electricity generated from a coal plant.
