This is an interesting glimpse into the mindset of feds.

Kidding aside, nothing about this is good for the open source movement.

Gotta have my /sipps/ tho.

I'm actually curious now if the 30 year old boomer meme is in any way an outgrowth of the Iraq war. The aesthetic the meme embraces reminds me a lot of the guys I knew my age and older who served. Gonna have to reflect on this a bit.

Several years ago I remember reading on stack overflow about how someone had managed to rm the ls program on a Linux system. Your anecdote reminded me of the fix. I’ll do some googling and see if I can find it. If I can, I’ll post it here.

Hats off to people like you. You’re what we mere mortals aspire to, and it’s always encouraging to hear that someone else has attained a level of mastery. Makes it seem more achievable!

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

One of the things that makes lead (and all heavy metals) so dangerous is the body lacks a mechanism to effectively clear it.

So if the only factor in aggression is the amount of lead in the body, then we would have to assume it takes time for the symptoms to subside as well.

You obviously live in inflated-margin land. I'm going to guess NY, SF, CS, or greater Denver (maybe austin) or worse, Academia.

Startups don't work this way in heavy industry, especially when jobs are on the line.

I envy you, actually.

I'll also tell you to check out overleaf--it does most of this in a browser, so you have the collaborative aspect if you need it.
