Thank you again. The context sharing is done using flags and is forced otherwise the token cost would be too much. Adding local llm support this week and this problem will go away but the context will be huge.

I apologize if anyone got offended by this. I thought it was pretty cool. The intention was not to show off. I did use ai to help me build this. The goal was to have a local implementation of a queue which can be used to decouple systems and use for processing messages. I should have included the intention of the post. I thought some other people would find it cool.
If you have ever used AWS SQS, I wanted to build something like that. Something that would run locally and can be used on simple servers. I apologize if it came out as something else. I apologize again.

Hello everyone!
....you need to have some form of presence in social media. I hate to tweet. Don't know how to tweet. Don't have an account on Facebook or Instagram. I wanted to have some sort of creative outlet and presence online. So I tried my hands on writing a newsletter. The promise to myself was to publish quality work, everyday without fail and not worry about followers or growth.
Its been 132 days today and I figured to share the learning. First, some numbers on the newsletter.
Subs: 1K+
Platform: Substack and private
Open Rate: 44.39%
Visitors last 30 days: 13000
The biggest learning for me has been that you really need to like what you are doing. Otherwise you will stop. Publishing daily is not very easy. You dont want to spam. I have been writing on vacations, in the car, in the bathroom and on one occasion, a wedding. You need to keep promises to yourself. Many of my initial subs asked me on why I publish daily and I should send less. I didnt agree. I would rather loose subs then publish weekly. This was like a challenge to myself. I wanted to see if I could do this. This has worked for me and I am very happy. If your content is of quality and provides value to people then you will grow.
The second learning is consistency. I have followed a lot of creators on their journey on various platforms like youtube, twitter, hackernews, producthunt , beehiiv , substack etc etc and the most important factor on growth on any such creator platform is consistency. Sadly consistency overshadows quality ( atleast in the beginning ) . So choose something you can be consistent on.
I will continue to share learning on every milestone. The goal is going paid on my 365th issue. I wish you all the best. Let me know if you need any help or advice when it comes to starting up on a creator platform.
P.S my newsletter www.kuration.email . Subscribe if you like it or try reading an issue. Its free.
Cheers.
