You guys have no idea how bad things can get.
As an average IPL game of T20 cricket viewer can tell you.
Basically every over consists of 6 balls bowled, times 40(each team gets 20 overs)
And ads are sold on each ball, so 240 ad slots for sale, these are overlay ads, so basically the feed gets reduced to 70% of the screen and you see an ad for the remaning 30% typically for 5 secs.
On top of this after each over(6 balls), you get full screen targeted ads for 30 secs before the nexy over starts. This targeted ad is exclusively sold for your demographic account. Your friend or a family member will see a completely different sst of targeted ads.
A wicket(batter got out)? You dont need to watch a replay of how it happened here is 30 secs of more ads in the middle of the over while the new batsman walks on to the field. I wish this was sarcasm.
And on top of all this, you get a full 2min 30sec "strategic timeout" in between each innings to guess what? Run more ads.
And all of this just in the span of just over 3 hours start to finish.
Rinse and Repeat.

Not really the case for Android, you skip the google account setup or the amazon account setup if you are using a fire tablet and continue using the device by sideloading whatever APKs you want. Most of the times the APKs that depend on Google Play Services will continue to work fine.
I skipped the amazon account registration and directly sideloaded the Google Play apps on my fire tablet.
Even for Google TVs you can skip the setup and use the TV as is. You can sideload APKs on this as well.
AFAIK, the account setup/login circumvention is not possible on fire tv sticks/google chromecasts.
You can take a very old android device factory reset it and continue using at as an offline only device without the blessings of google or amazon. (Except FRP devices)
But that is not the case with Apple, you need to connect it atleast once to the internet to activate the device.

Recently watched the Netflix docu series on this, J&J claimed that cyanide was not present in the factory, so there is no way the pills could have been contaminated at the factory.
Then later on one of the doctors asked J&J if a test for cyanide is done for each batch in QA at the factory. J&J said yes, each batch was tested for the presence of cyanide.
The doctor then asked, "Why were they testing for it(cyanide)?", kinda blew my mind. Implying that J&J knew cyanide contamination was a possibility at the factory itself.

Can you share a link to that electronics course? I am also kind of in the same boat right now. I need to use off the shelf components mainly Pi Pico and a seperate module.
Specifically, I want to get RP2040 or the newer RP2350 with another module onto a single PCB. Currently I am soldering the pins between the two modules.
I assume this should be fairly trivial since soldering and having two seperate off the shelf PCBs is what I want to eliminate.
Following this discussion!

> It constantly offers me new music, artists with few thousands followers that are interesting and relevant.
Are they though? Is it not in spotify's best interests to stuff your discover weekly with cheap(to them) music?
I have been holding on to spotify and each monday I have been saving my DW playlists (120+ weeks and counting), but lately it has been filled with cover songs and songs that are not very relevant. I am hardly adding any songs to my favourites from the DW playlist these days, this is in contrast from earlier when I would generally favourite a few songs atleast each week from the DW playlist.
