I wish they would have event volume pricing option rather than just MTU, same with Mix+Segment. Very inflexible if the site you run has lots of infrequent users.

Repeating a question that I found super useful in 2019. What are people using now? Be interesting to see how the landscape has changed.

Personally I am using:

Avo.app for client schema management

Rudderstack CDP

Indicative (the other more well know products in this space like mixpanel/amplitude are prohibitively expensive for high MTU estates)

Clickhouse

RabbitMq to Clickhouse for realtime (Rudder batch loads every 30m)

Prefect 2.0 for ETL/Scheduling

Superset

Hex

MindsDb (early days)

No I am suggesting that they clearly over hired over a long period of time. Surely they recalculated over that period of time...if not then that sums the incompetence up

When you need to cull 28% of the headcount it signifies a huge fail over many many months, not just a one off miscalculation
