Show HN: Life (Before the Singularity) in Weeks

Tim Urban's post Your Life in Weeks (https://waitbutwhy.com/2014/05/life-weeks.html) visualizes the 4680 weeks that compose your life, and Bryan Braun made an interactive version that shows you how many of those weeks you've already used up (https://www.bryanbraun.com/your-life/weeks.html).

I really liked Bryan's site! But I had an issue with it: it assumes my life will be about 90 years long. But as the technological singularity nears, I instead expect my life to be much shorter (if AI kills us all) or much longer (if it doesn't, and we get dramatically better longevity technology).

So in case you weren't feeling enough existential dread, I made my own version that pulls the latest forecast from Metaculus for when artificial general intelligence will be invented and charts how much of your life up until then has passed.

I would have liked to see some statistics cited instead of anecdotes about individual security incidents. Is industry software really less secure than it used to be because of larger attack surfaces, proportional to the size of the software industry?

I fine-tuned GPT-3 on the lyrics of 96 MF DOOM songs to write lyrics in his style. Then, i cloned his voice to a text-to-voice model to make him rap them.

I used to own roman.hn since my last initials are H-N, but I switched to roman.computer after I dropped my second last name (it's hyphenated).

Technically you can't own an Honduran domain name if you're some rando American like me, but you can use a registrar like Njalla, which legally owns it for you but lets you control it.
