> How did it go from "He even performed a backup/mirror of several dozen of our repositories." to "He deleted part of our repository from GitHub
What's unclear? This guy was part of the project for some time and got maintainer trust. Then he brings in his mate. His mate is a crap person and gets kicked out of the project. The original guy then goes bananas and nukes stuff.

Most people (even pros) even with expensive cameras and great viewfinders still take mostly garbage shots and only some are good by luck. Same will be true here
Often switching from using your eye to looking through the viewfinder and fiddle with composition is how you ruin a genuine shot and miss the moment.
Also I used a camera without a viewfinder for some years, I guarantee if it's a fixed lens you learn what you get quickly.

There's people with disabilities or conditions whom you could say are not persons (in some cases anymore, in some cases ever) but there's no boolean test to say for sure. Do you think they should be allowed to be experimented on? What exactly makes a person? Is serial murderer a person? What about his victim in a coma or vegetable state?

> I don't really expect anything.
You are a self described youtube watcher. Unless you pay for youtube premium, you expect free content literally every time you open youtube. By definition.
> All the people who want to make money from YouTube can just stop making stuff if money is what's motivating them.
I don't know how old are you but after certain age things are not so black and white. We don't live in severance where we can slave away at a denigrating unethical job we hate just to earn money. People prefer to do something they love AND earn money from it. If they don't do the latter they starve and go bankrupt. Guess what then they can't provide free content for you.

> the power of smart copy pasting is now also in the hands of non-geeky people
Why? they didn't know how to copy before or something?
> spin up and manage dozens of juniors
Let's not call it a "junior" if one trigger word deep in the filesystem can make it forget it's a programmer and start building Minecraft castles.
