This sets off marketing BS alarm bells. All the cosignatories so very ovvoously have a vested interest in AI stocks / sentiment. Perhaps not the Linux foundation, although (I think) they rely on corporate donations to some extent.

Who really knows _that_ much about anything though? Few people are experts in a given topic. Although I see your point, I suppose more people would be good to recognise that, especially about themselves.

Struggle with this too. One keyword which helps is 'wide angle'. Sometimes 'full body shot' works for generating humans.

To add another data point, my GTX1080 takes ~60 sec to generate a pair of 500x500 images using txt2img. Haven't tried img2img yet as the UI package I went with is a bit buggy with it

You can get around that by spoofing safteynet stuff using Magisk. But yeah, it is a few more hoops to jump through and you need to be rooted which is itself not great for security.

I assume they were referring to the blitz in WW2, where the RAF defended Britain from Nazi bombing runs.
