I believe Twitter is trying to be better though and it appears they do chip away at this. They have also been in a difficult situation between cancel culture and free speech absolutism. Determining the reasonable solution is hard when the extreme edges and vocal minorities are yelling at you.
My personal hope is that Twitter will further crack down on the very low hanging bots / trolls / alt accounts - there are many especially young accounts with handles like @Name359345809 which don't contribute to the platform in any way.

Free Speech for individuals does not mean that we have an interest in allowing foreign and potentially hostile actors to run propaganda campaigns using the ad targeting machine we have built using social media.
They can say what they want and every citizen can do so as well, but we should not allow asymmetric amplification.

> Part of the problem with electronics is often a brand new unit costs less than replacing a faulty part
This is only partially true.
I am not a US citizien but I'd still like to thank you for taking time out of your day to explain. I wish politics would generally be more transparent about their intentions but I guess it wouldn't be politics then. It's always hard to find out the intentions of thresholds and numbers as the models behind them are never communicated through the media.

Spotify became entirely unusable for me when I started using Bluetooth headphones on my computer. When I turn them off, Spotify goes into some weird attempt to play every single song in rapid succession as it has no Output device to play to. Finally crashing so bad that I have to end the process and reopen it.
It doesn't help that I've reported that a long time ago and even though the QA triage should have marked this as a low hanging fruit, nothing has happened.
// rant end, I know this post doesn't help anything but venting is always a form of self-therapy haha

In an ideal world that'd mean we become architecture agnostic and solutions should work on any CPU entering the market while ARM has still not achieved majority support on desktop solutions.
Sadly I am certain there will be an extremely painful phase in which some software runs a lot better (more than the instruction set would explain) on some hardware and not on others. Driver support is going to be really poor and tech support will be a very secure job for the coming decade.. hah :)

Amazon is truly the AliExpress of the west and they are running the quality down faster and faster. A dead giveaway is the fact that there are tons of rebrands of the same product whenever you look for something. If I want the China product I go directly to AliExpress and get the unbranded version and don't need to pay the 100-300% premium on Amazon.

Especially if you consider the inherent issues with Bluetooth call quality. No matter how good their microphones in them are, they will mangle the audio back to the 90s.
$549 seems entirely detached and I am baffled, even as an ANC enthusiast.
