I've actually taken to double-checking the assembly in some instances. There are surprising times that the compiler won't make the shortcuts and optimizations you thought it should, and I also used this method to call out an unsuitable compiler since I caught it spitting out some ridiculous 10x-long set of instructions in certain critical instances.

I always balked at GitHub, but was impressed with git very soon after I was first introduced; I migrated from an old Gitea instance to Forgejo for my personal projects and have been very happy with it.

Now that I think about it, perhaps that example did a good job of demonstrating how ill-conceived requirements can wind up having zero effect except for just making everything a little bit more inconvenient.

That's not the best example, since the levels set for Prop 65 warnings are so low that the warnings are effectively useless; every single commercial building in CA now somehow causes cancer.

Why is nobody even asking why that should be an issue? No other text editor shits the bed that way. The whole point of the computer is that it patiently waits for my input.
