I would disagree with C# having a (-) at Types. The Type system is indeed the most impressing part of .net/C#. having written static analysers for many languages i find the c# type system the most logical and most easy to parse

I started using .Net with 2.0, learned the api and framework and was very happy with all the functions. i never had the need to switch to the more idiomatic idoms. Sometimes on the go i picked up some new tricks and adopted some new types. Form me a good programmer knows how to avoid cognitive overload and how things work under the hood. Why use LINQ when i can use a foreach or a hashmap. Most of the time people don't understand how i get so much performance out of C#, then i tell them KISS. And know your type system.

Uses CMAKE, Sorry not for me. Call me old but i prefere good old make or batch. Maybe it's because i can understand those tools. Debugging CMAKE build problems made me hate it. Also i code for embedded CPU and most of the time CMAKE is just overkill and does not play well the compiler/binutils provided. The Platform independency is just not happening in those environments.

I still use Claude to code in a very stoneage way. I copy c code into the web site/desktop App and type in my prompt. Then i read the output and if i like it i copy paste it into my code. I always felt very old doing that way when things like Claude code exists. Now i fell somehow not so old. All this hacking into my private space using a develpment tool is insane. Also i do not use Git
