You are not, in fact, 1% here. I saw numbers like 77% of players using Windows, 12% on macOS and 9% on Linux for the game.

Also, developers seem to have an experimental Linux build and code building for macOS according to the wiki:

I have a lot of opinions on shipping games on macOS, but they mostly about lack of technical barriers to be honest, so I'll leave them with myself.

Not really. I have enough to worry about in the present rather than worry about imaginary future scenarios. I also think that since this is something most people are agreeing to, if it would turn really sour there would be enough of public outrage to make the worst of consequences illegal.

Reading comments, I expectantly see a lot of cheering for this step, with many calling for further measures. I understand that privacy features are important to some people, but I am not one of them.

Can someone provide what needs these feature covers? Like, what are some reason to disable all internet connectivity?

I am genuinely curious.

I personally wouldn't be so categorical - AI in useful capacity feels like was around just for a little while, certainly not long enough to have any conclusive long reaching effects like the claim.

It is also uncertain where this technology would land, because two years ago I wouldn't believe what is AI capable today.

I applaud your bravery but it sometime feels like sticking to kerosine lamp when electrification is happening, just because they got to fall some trees to build the lines.

I am not saying that this would be as impactful, but it the first thing over my lifetime which feels like it. And I lived through adoption of internet and handheld revolution. Life is changing so rapidly that fear of being left behind is very real. Especially seeing as much change as any person over 40, that is crazy.

As Ukrainian I find bets if some city would be captured - peak degeneracy. People are being sent to die or protecting their homes should not be someone bet.

ah, here comes whataboutism. And you are correct. It would be great if russia didn't destroy Afghanistan and Syria.

Also, equating conflicts is a very shallow and inadequate manipulation tool. For example, russians razed dozens of cities in Ukraine, establish torture and rape chambers, use rape, torture, execution of POW as policy today.

"all wars are bad" doesn't mean that whatever russia does is way worse.
