I have started treating AI coding tools more like giving temporary contractor access to my machine than just using auto complete.

People were not judging the painting in isolation, they were judging the story attached to it. Once they heard AI every brushstroke became suspicious.

I have made plenty of mistakes and tried hacks that failed but yes each failure taught lessons i'll never forgot.
What's your one mistake or hack that taught you more than success?

How does your team handle security audits or compliance? If the code reviews are also agent driven, you have created a closed loop system with no human accountability.

Mostly a mix of both. Some are dev related workflows while others are more operational like content pipelines, research tasks and internal automation stuff.

Tried a few workflow tools but most either break often or need more setup than the task itself. Would easily pay for something that just quietly handled all of that in the background.

You’ve made some great points. It’s odd that OpenClaw has 247K GitHub stars but only 35K installs on the most popular skill. The basic skills like Gmail and Obsidian seem to be drawing the most attention, but they feel more like short term solutions. The managed hosting and the stock rally suggest that it's becoming more about the infrastructure and recurring revenue, rather than true product adoption. I’m with you there’s potential here, but it’s tough to say where it’s really headed.

Instead of trying to detect AI in the final string of text the industry seems to be moving towards proof of process. version history, drafts protocol or even UI level logging of keystrokes. If i can not prove i spent three hours in a doc via a series of incremental diffs, the humanness of my prose becomes irrelevant in a high stakes environment. Detection is a lagging indicator the only leading indicator is the audit trail of the labor itself.
