I've got a '91 Toyota Carina and can attest that it's very easy to work on, my friend and I pulled the engine and gearbox in under two hours with hand tools, but I can't really speak for anything modern.

The framing device for The Legend of Zelda games is that it's a mythological cycle in which Link, Ganon, and Zelda are periodically reborn and the plot begins anew with new characters. It lets them be flexible with the setting, side quests, and characters as the series progresses and it's been selling games for just shy of forty years.

In Ireland, you can't ride a motorcycle above 125cc unless you've held your license for four years. It forces people to get genuine experience before hopping on a litrebike and sending it.

When I drive my work van I use a throttle body, when I drive my car I use a carburettor. From my point of view as a user, I'm just driving a vehicle. The point is that users see a holistic system and neither know nor care about the underlying implementation details.

In Ireland you need to have held your provisional license for at least six months and done 12 lessons with a certified instructor before they allow you to take the test.

It should always be optional as not everyone using tax prep software will actually be a citizen of the country where they're paying tax or registered with said country's social welfare system. I found navigating bureaucracy a nightmare when I first moved to the UK because so many systems were set up to require a National Insurance (Social Security) number which I wasn't able to get until after I started paying tax. Notably I was denied a bank account until I complained about it on Twitter.

I also have physical problems writing by hand, and it led to me handing in a lot of unfinished essays after running out of time in exams. If I hadn't gotten a special dispensation to type my exams later on, I wouldn't really have anything to show for my education. Before my issues were diagnosed, my teachers and parents felt that it was due to a lack of effort on my part and that they could punish me into writing properly, and I feel that having access to Chromebooks is worth it if it even spares one kid from having to deal with that.

That's not really consistent across Ireland though, let alone Europe. I was paying €50 a month for two megabit DSL in Kilkenny five years ago as that was all my ISP's backhaul was good for.

I owe my career to friends made online. Online friends are no substitute for in-person interaction but it's perfectly possible to have a meaningful relationship with a person over the internet.

I assume he means a Gaelic football. Gaelic football is governed by the Gaelic Athletic Association along with Hurling and Gaelic Handball.
