Long shot, but I wonder if an image of the pdf would do better if it did get unstuck on internal formats.

As an early web guy who gets off on tech and problem solving I have long hated the industry with a passion as I see it as a fundamental brain drain for society full of bullshit jobs and bullshit people. Including of course myself. I should welcome the automation and yet my heart feels ripped out as the emperor has been laid bare with 20 odd years going up in smoke as vultures pick at the corpses of the old guard.

Google search just doesn't work for me any more. I am not sure if it's because I clean slate it with no personalisation, but I already feel my search engine has been removed from the web. Their AI snippets are quite wrong alot of the time and Vs Gemini have a totally different flavour. There's no cohesiveness at all.

I have a tented split scissor switch that is quite wide, and it still annoys my shoulder with the inward pivot. Plus I seem to do reasonably well two fingering a smart phone so, well, what is the point? We can put a SOC in an interface with reasonable speed these days. I would love to see a radical departure. A glove interface surely could be better?

Dreadful piece. I have my partner's broken Bluetooth overheads. They need fresh pairing every time, and as they are closed back they are a bit exhausting. The pairing is a pain point. I have a decent open back pair of two, one the head band died (plastic fatigue). I have gotten through so many wired ear buds as I like wearing them in bed and drifting off to music or podcasts. So the wire is an enemy and it often tries to strangle you. Surprisingly you may have a better DAC in your headphones than your laptop or phone accessible over wireless. And conversely one phone I have has a better soundstage than all my computer gear. Different tasks and combos require disperate gear. I am going to buy some more wired buds. One plus about a wire and amp combo is that you can at least crank up the volume. The EU apple USBC to 3.5 is capped at 50 percent.

I have had some low temperature wool disasters. The spin cycle I think is to blame. But you want it dry, you think you'll get away with it, then you sigh deeply upon finding the shrinky dinky.
