This was my first thought as well. Android will basically be able to do the same thing that Audible is doing but on a much larger scale. I wonder how many different licenses that is going to affect?

I'd say it's a little of both. On a game like 007 GoldenEye (N64), people have been speedrunning the game for almost 20 years, and are now in their early or late thirties. But there are still younger people that are getting to the game just now and getting new World Record runs. And this is just one game as an example, every game is different.

I wish the App Timer was like a TV timer, where the TV just turns off after the timer is up. I'd like something that kills a certain app that is running on my phone. It sounds like that isn't what the App Timer will do.

I imagine you would need root on your phone to kill apps from another app.

If you're brave it looks like you can replace it in only 5 steps. The caveat being that those 5 steps look very difficult, and in some cases require special tools.

The only way that I could check to see if Github knew they were having problems was by searching Google for "github status", and then seeing from the embedded Twitter section in the results page that there was a tweet about having problems. Twitter also being down for me didn't help the situation either.

This also struck me. I was surprised that they picked WWE of all things, you would think that video would be region locked and thus not available outside of the US, like a lot of things are.

I wonder if they've just hard coded their names for now because they had trouble doing fingerspelling, because I doubt that someone's name-sign is just a 'T'. That's really close to the sign for 'bathroom', which would be weird :)

I've never knowingly used a tree structure since college, everything is abstracted away from me. Now whether this is a good thing or a bad thing remains to be seen, but it has not been a problem yet.

It depends on how its implemented.

If it's "Whats your mother's maiden name?" and they let you reset it in the browser, it's a bug.

But if they send you an email (in my case to Gmail, that has 2FA turned on), then it is a feature, because then you'd be required to either 1) intercept the recovery email (and get the password reset URL) or 2) know the format of the password reset URL and just happen to guess mine after brute-forcing every possible link (assuming there is no timeout for the URL or anything else like that).

You can also report potholes on Waze. Some city governments actively follow Waze [0], so it would be easy for people to report potholes, and the government to watch and see where they need to be filled.

Having a file encrpyt to an HTML file is pretty interesting, something I've never considered before. Very portable.
