Guess he was talking about the presentation, not what the tool can achieve. It has no hard proof on the first page, which could easily just be a LinkedIn pitch, but not on hackernews

since its a .ch domain, i believe its in swiss.
In germany we have our DSGVO (GDPR), and you can report it too.
If a breach happen, you have to inform all your customers.
if its a first time and you tried to your own best, the punishment is not that hard, but since these are medical infos they should have known better.
Lets really hope they learned from their mistakes

I've come to the point where I think generated code is nothing better than a random package I install.
Did I read it all and just accepted what was promised? Yes
Can it bite me in the butt somewhere down the road? Probably, but I currently at least have more doubt about the generated code than a random package I picked up somewhere on git which readme I just partly skipped over.

Another idea maybe would be to load the heavy library after the initial page is done. But it's loaded and heavy nonetheless.
Or you could create svgs for the formulas and load them when they are in the viewport. Just my 2 cents

to be fair, it's way easier now to do your taxes (as a private person). We can do it completely online with no paperwork involved and its actually quite alright. so some innovation is happening, even in the public sector.
what happens in the company is another thing. it really depends on the people working there.

Most Games have comfort settings Like Teleportation, Fading etc.
My wife gets motion sick pretty fast with VR, but reading a book while driving is no issue. It's rather strange to me

IMHO the entry to VR is for most people to cumbersome.
- you should try it first to check how bad your motion sickness gets when playing. If you have it bad, all your bought VR equipment is unusable.
- you need specific hardware for it which (mostly) only works for gaming (and maybe porn). Putting 400+ bucks into the hardware for that sole purpose is to much for most people.
- you need a dedicated place for it. You can play it sitting down, but that's not even half the fun of VR.
I have a VR headset myself and really like it, but even for me it's a hustle to free up the space and set everything up for a session. I rather pick up my steamdeck and play wherever I might be.

Maybe you were one of the unlucky ones and got the loud fan. They switched to a much quieter fan in the newer machines.
You can try to replace it with some parts from ifixit or somewhere else.
I refunded my first too because it was just too loud and I didn't had the right situation for it.
Now one kid later and a newer deck with a silent fan, I'm very happy with the deck again.

Had to do something similar in my company.
We had to write how long we worked on a projects and what the task was.
This was due every month and of course I only did it at the end of the month.
It was all already planned and everybody knew what was being done, it was just an annoying layer on top that took hours.
So I made a script that listed my git commits, searched the Jira ticket associated with it and gave me the tags in those tickets.
The art of being lazy amirite

So it's the vision of a single person and another UI library is being born.
I'm being sceptical at this, cause it looks like the same problem with JS and all the frameworks: I can't find anything that has all the features I want, so I start a new one, which potentially never becomes stable.
I'm not a Rust developer (yet) and have a background in PHP and JS, so I'm glad if some vets can elaborate on the GUI problem with other programming languages.
