Gohlay has been a side/passion project on my back burner for too long, and I finally had the time to polish it up enough for community feedback. The idea came from a discussion around a business need. I am curious how this tool could be used in other Kafka workflows. I had fun writing it; if someone finds it useful, that is a win-win.
Any feedback or ideas for improvement are welcome!

I built this demo for a conference last year. It simulates taxis sending their location via MQTT to the Zilla MQTT broker, which proxies them onto Kafka topics. The map UI talks to Kafka with Zilla's REST and gRPC endpoints. Check out my blog post or the repo to see how it works.

Long story short, an issue I follow, and would really like to see be completed, was moved into the aforementioned status. The link is a list of all of such issues. It would seem they all have some level of "needing to be addressed" but not enough demand. So what if all of HN went in and commented or upvoted an issue or two they felt was worthy?
https://gitlab.com/groups/gitlab-org/-/issues?milestone_title=Awaiting+further+demand

So I have been putting together a way for people to more easily make their own blogging platform. It would kind of mimic a blog or social media platform, but since everything is committed to a repository using the JAMstack it could easily be converted to a fully managed platform. Any feedback would be wonderful. https://your-media.netlify.com/post/make-your-own-media/ Everything is owned by the end user. This is only providing a recipe for people to use. I will also mention that https://www.stackbit.com/ is doing basically the same thing but more from a “Make life easier for Website designers” perspective.

Wonderful article, RSS needs to make a comeback. Especially among friends and family who love to make large posts about important topics.
