What about HashCash, where proof of work increases with more pull requests from a user ID? Beyond typical submission frequency, proof-of-work would become exponentially more difficult to prevent spam, helping to keep the riff-raff out.
Doesn't require money, just computing power.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hashcash
If HiveCoin were still around, we could donate the hashing power to some tech-related non-profit.

You sometimes have to treat adults like little children. The first thing I say is, "you're not in trouble". Kids assume if an adult talks to them, they are automatically in trouble. I've gotten a lot of helpful results by telling people no one is in trouble when you make your inquiry. Amazing how grown adults regress to children when a different department calls them.

The trademarks are required for Chinese businesses to house products in the USA for Amazon FBA (freigh by Amazon). They make non-sensical trademarks so there's no conflict with the trademark office. Techquickie (Linus Tech Tips) has an episode on it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UrqlMfwUC4
Amazon 3P (third party) has essentially become what eBay was in the 90s except the crap is sometimes housed in the USA for faster delivery. Amazon doesn't care. It pretty much all fell apart after he separated from McKenzie and lost the way.

Everyone has a different taste, but I do concur with you. Your grandma and my grandma kept to the traditional manual methods and that tastes best. The chilli peppers cultivated in Korea have a different sweeter taste IMO and the cheaper ones imported from China (while cheaper) do not hold up in terms of the sweetness and balanced spice. The earthenware pot also act as a refrigerant by being buried in the ground. Since the pot is placed below the frostline, kimchi is available through winter.

Technology helped the small guys compete with the big boys. Cross River is a tiny bank yet they ranked 4th after the top 3 banks with staff, resources, and scale beyond Cross River. Yet, they were were able to utilize fintech to rank 4th. It really put the top 3 to shame and shows how limp they are when it comes to innovation and agility.
