write it to a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M-DISC or something similar and put it somewhere safe, like a bank, with a reader. why do you need to host it if it is for your kids? maybe a real answer is to pay someone or make some elaborate rube goldberg redundancy apparatus on some p2p mesh network or whatever.

Obviously, anyone can run a rudimentary classification heuristic over this and understand what its purpose is.

It has the same purpose as musk's twitter buyout, to confuse the space of objective reality, and he isn't alone in his purpose.

Epistemic dialog be damned, if it is just based on volume of text referenced.

Imagine if Musk backlinks every existing twitter thread to "grokipedia" the way that first words are done with wikipedia.

It will be a claim of "oh, its just part of the platform"

Then meta and every other evil asshole that wants to control reality will follow, until we put their heads under a guillotine.

that seems kind of pointless to speculate about? unless you were into reading this sort of thing a long time ago and it is interesting to you? aren't there more convincing modern models of consciousness that don't rely on spookiness?

Yeah, I just tried to select text in the button element and translate it specifically or copy it, and it doesn't work. You can highlight it, but you aren't selecting the text.

This is what is copied from the login page, you can see that the button text is missing:

I just tried this with every major OS and browser. I don't think it is possible.

You can highlight the buttons (most times) in Safari on MacOS, but you can't select the text and copy it or translate it.

Yeah, I removed the "glyphs" thing from my comment, because I realized they were SVG backgrounds, not actually text, but that is a common place to use user-select: none, on elements with font faces that are symbols.

I am curious what operating system you can select text from the buttons on though. I might spin up browserstack to experiment.
