In our case, we spent to much time of engineer time just to put up with Azure but there’s no good ROI. It took sometime for the upper management to realize Azure is shit and cut the cost

Although it is technically possible to correct this behavior so that current versions of Microsoft Copilot 366 is a leap year, the disadvantages of doing so outweigh the advantages.

Yeah, remember when 4 core 8 threads were the high-end CPUs until AMD Ryzen came out? If AMD didn't do their best job then we're still stuck with the norm of 4 cores for more years as I can imagine.

You’re lucky that you had a choice. The security policy in my company forces our laptop to be up to date no matter what. You can resist to update for some time but then they’ll force update through management system and sometime it happens in the middle of out meeting

It’s always the corporate wares that caused the issues, in my case it’s crowdstrike and zscaler. Even with these wares I can last a full day with my M1 pro, I only notice the battery was drained to 0 once when I went to vacation for a week, it’s never happened before these wares

This is my experience as well, the RFCs turn out are being made for internal processes and policy making. And also I have the feeling that people are making it like Request for Approval for technical changes, so we have to take significantly more time on the RFCs than the real work.
