For a counterpoint, you only need to look at the cancer that is Facebook comments from people on their own name and face and a lot of bio attached. It's not the anonymity. At least not by itself.

Well, there is the problem that a lot of people don't have things they actually want to work on. They don't know how to self actualize and/or don't want to spend brain cycles on things.

There never was one. I'm from computing science field and it's all been and is normal. Amusing, maybe, but normal. Same as before, but in larger scale, with occasional hype. People picking up useful things and using them. Some going insane.
If I had to pick a surprise, I think the music generation works better than I'd have expected at this point. Only better for funk, but still.

No, every means every. You have a tiny tiny fragment of every protocol that could ever exist or even of the ones that do. And you can't even potentially do many real protocols on an ESP. It's a tiny tiny subset. I'd suggest being honest.

Most of Europe has social security and reasonable health care. Cities even have working transit systems. Living costs are massively different. I expect the costs in India will also be.
Not that it means you'll be raking in a lot of surplus money, but that's also not directly tied to the size of your salary.

A lot of providers don't give you imap anymore or it's an extra cost option. SMTP also comes with a ton of traps because of spam fighting measures.
Also monopolies and mobile devices and skill issues.
