I had an Apple 2+ back in 1992. It was an old computer, even then.

The Apple 2+ only supported displaying capital letters.

I remember calling a few local BBSes using terminal software that let me press the right arrow (I think) and the character key, and it would display the character inverted (white background, black letter).

Hayes 1200 baud serial modem (I think) hooked up to a serial card.

That's how I knew I was sending a capital letter.

Not sure if it was Kermit though..

I'd want cleaning to happen every day during the week/

Probably $80/day for someone to do everything I want done. 20 days a month.

$1,600/month.

It'd take two years, and the robot has paid for itself.

Most people finance vehicles that cost much more than 20K.

I'd gladly pay or finance a robot that could have dishes clean, laundry folded, and carpets vacuumed by the time our family got home.

Anecdotally, whenever I go swimming with my kids in the summer, and I don't put sunscreen on right away, but let myself get some intense direct sun, I feel good and sleep really well that night.

As long as I don't let myself get in a red, sunburn situation.

Never understood why Facebook hasn't implemented the 'Explain this post' type feature that you see on X (@grok).

Facebook seems to be the most misinformed audience - an LLM fact checker would be a great addition.

It's a tradeoff.

Generating a feature that is 90% correct in a tenth of the time is a reasonable tradeoff if you're trying to gain traction.

I thought it was only me.

The autocomplete has a preference for proper nouns, even when they make zero sense .

The next suggested word is, at best, naive. Using the previous word, it would be clear that the subsequent suggestion would not be reasonable.

Not my experience at all.

It fails to be pro-active. "Why didn't you run the tests you created?"

I want it to tell me if the implementation is working.

Feels lazy. And it hallucinates solutions frequently.

It pales in comparison to CC/Opus.

It's an absolute workhorse.

A concerted effort to consume 2-4g of potassium daily has definitely helped lower my blood pressure.

I'd be wary of the sugars in bananas and orange juice.
