The web version went from 100 Pro Prompts per day to...12 per 5 hours lol. I just did 3 back and forth not even technical planning for an infra project and I am ~25% thorough. Insane.

My most recent project has been about having an intelligent layer of self-replicating, perpetual AI "agent" layers (akin to Bobiverse series) between me and my homelab[1]. I should have to do the bare minimum to interact with my homelab -- it should for the most part, run by itself. I recently spoke on Linux Unplugged Podcast Ep 652 [2] about this project as well.

Surely you see it's somewhat unreasonable? As if it was written by the author you disliked, and until you knew of the fact, you quite enjoyed it.

Quite honestly, I do that sometimes too -- but I _know_ that it's unreasonable.

Ironically I have a somewhat of a different view - I love rubber ducking and tinkering with LLMs. Sometimes they come up with a use case that I would not have thought of, but I would have liked to have maybe 2 weeks later. Other times it is nitpicking each others' code etc.

I gave my homelab agents a 'clone' button and they formed a union

Seconded. A dell optiplex micro or hp pro desk with 7th Gen or 8th Gen i5 is approx $40-55 on eBay if you look. Works flawlessly.

Hah. Same. I have a step by step "reasoning" agent that asks me for confirmation after each step (understanding of problem, solutions proposed, solutions selection, and final wrap) - just so it gets red back the previous prompts and answers rather than one word salad essay.

Works incredibly well, and I created it with its own help.

Why should it not? What's the point of having an effectively open information network if you're going to just let each nation state arbitrarily censor/manipulate it as they see fit for their own peasants?

You'd agree with say, mass blocking sites for their people just because the sites say something about democracy?
