Retrofitting sound dampening to a system not designed for it will rarely work due to economics I would imagine. IE the cost involved would be prohibitive

I'm glad on a daily basis that I retired before this became my reality. I still hand-code 3+hours a day as a hobby and it brings me great joy.

I've just retired after 30 years of coding and still program as a hobby 3+ hours a day. FWIW I don't and never have used LLMs

I'm not convinced that the majority of people have either the skill or inclination to craft a good prompt nor the awareness to determine whether the answers they get from the software are correct.

I always have a few novels on the go at the same time. As I finish each one I put it on the 'read' pile and pick another complementary book from my bookshelf whose last rereading I can't recall. This way I work my way through all the books I own before starting again a year or more later. No need to buy any more books ever...
