Some channels and websites that I follow unfortunately add a lot of nonsense and irrelevant content in the middle of what really matters. So, I've been reading their summaries, obtained from the transcripts. Basically, I use Whisper to get the transcript and then use ChatGPT to request a summary. It turns out that some texts are long and eat up my daily quota.

So, anyone knows of a good model (that doesn't require powerful hardware) that can be run locally and get good results when summarizing articles?

There are many differences, starting with the public image. As far as I know, in the US, the Supreme Court is seen as people with ethics and known legal knowledge. In Brazil, they are political appointees. Furthermore, for many, they go beyond the limits and sometimes legislate.

Interesting. Claude has (at least in my tests) best results than GitHub Copilot. About using in IntelliJ, I read some people talking about changing the Java Boot. Do you know what configuration I need to change?

Seems to be interesting. Unfortunately, I can't run anything local with reasonable time response. By the way, I need to search again about this, maybe de Llama local runs better now with recent improvements on the model.

I'm currently using GitHub Copilot, but I often see problems interpreting commands and limitations in responses when compared to more advanced models (Claude/ChatGTP 4).

I've searched a few times, but I've never found any references to the implemented version (model).

So, I ask: what development tools are you using? Copilot, or are there better alternatives?

I use it in conjunction with IntellIJ.

Ask HN: AdGuard for Android or another alternative

Currently, I have a PiHole server running on my machine, but I can't keep it running 100% of the time as a DNS server for my internal network. Therefore, I looked for an Android alternative and found AdGuard Blocker. It seems to work by creating an internal VPN and routing data through it, applying the filters. However, I'm concerned about data security since I don't have access to the code.

Do you know if this tool is safe, or if there is any other open-source project that offers the same functionality?

Any help would be appreciated.
