<p>If it is sold as unlimited, then using the service at the maximum bandwidth all month is not abuse - that is normal use.<p>I think you should be grumpy with you service provider who seems to have no idea how to properly manage traffic ;)</p>

<p>The brain doesn't compute it, the cochlear is an fft! It is a cone shaped structure (that is curled up) that is covered in hairs and neurons. The fatter end is used for low freq and the thinner end is used for hi freq. So the brain takes audio in the frequency domain, not as continuous samples!<p>(I did an Anatomy degree almost 20years ago now, all from memory)</p>

<p>Zfs will never make it into mainline unless someone rewrites it from a blackbox specification.<p>The zfs license is incompatible with gpl.<p>That being said zfs is awesome, it is simple to use, about as bulletproof you can get.</p>

<p>Some power stations (coal, nuclear) take a long long time to spool up, from a cold start. As such it is cheaper for them to stay online and generating and paying users to do so that to shut them down.</p>
