Wispr flow released android version few months back but wasn't supported in my 6 year old phone so made a similar app named Floatspeak. Which motivated me to made a windows version of it and now stopped paying Wispr flow altogether.

The token plan is confusing.
From their docs "After using 10M input (cache miss) tokens of MiMo-V2.5-Pro, it is equivalent to consuming 3000M Credits, and you can still enjoy 1100M Credits of MiMo-V2.5". So it's around 12M input credit vs Earlier 60M tokens.

Everyone already said what I wanted to say. That all US companies (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, MS Copilot) have increased price recently while Chinese companies (Deepseek, Xiaomi) are reducing price.
The question is how they are managing to do so? They are supposed to struggle due to chip sanctions.
Secondly, why now? The US companies were supposed to subsidize too but now they are unable to keep up. Everyone going to usage based pricing, so it's unsustainable for them. They are well funded too.
If there are genuine hardware breakthrough reducing compute needs then that is good for the whole world I believe.

I can't use Antigravity after this upgrade, unfortunately. No option to connect WSL for both versions so completely locked out.
One good thing is I have gained so much confidence on my work. I can't surely do worse work than those smart Google engineers.

In Kolkata, sweet sellers was struggling with cost management after covid due to increased prices of raw materials. But they couldn't increase the price any further without losing customers. So they reduced the size of sweets instead, and market slowly reduced expectations. And this is the new normal now.
Human psychology is surprisingly similar, and same pattern comes across domains.

"Security economy: to harden a system we need to spend more tokens discovering exploits than attackers spend exploiting them. To harden a system you need to spend more tokens discovering exploits than attackers will spend exploiting them." - This feels similar to missile defense dilemma. Spending 2M$ missile to attack a 20k$ drone.

Very interesting idea. Old school solutions but with new methods.
But maybe we can't make everything deterministic for complex cases, the scenarios that opened after LLM arrived into scene. Maybe we need a mix of both.
