At first glance the history looks legit but there are missing holes. From 2004 till now we have multi platform/language editor called Eclipse. From early days it supports plugins. How that one fit in the story? Shouldn't author prefer that one for it's longevity?

whiteboard = artificial. I don't agree. When I interview I don't expect working code on WB, I expect discussion about what is written there. Also I expect when interviewed that there will be discussion about approach I took.
WB usage is also testing presentation skills. It is used in companies when you want to present your ideas to others, etc.

If it is true local restaurant or pub you should have locals coming regularly. It means they have reservations for whole year on same time at some day. This is true for Prague pub called U Zlateho Tygra. That pub is in city center and in every turist book. Locals have booked tables all the days for whole year. Tourists can sit if locals don't appear or between 3 and 6pm before locals come.

Why Google 'sell' this as an advantage over 2FA over mobile phone? In this case it works on computer only, or you have to be at some computer, with mobile app, you can be anywhere? I see that as huge disadvantage.

Don't forget that UWP targets only Windows 10 and moreover it unifies development cross Desktop and Mobile. So we can read React UWP as small support of easy deployment to Windows 10.
There is no support of ReactXP for Window 7/8 so there is again Electron+Web as only viable option when using ReactXP.
