I think that metal isn’t double precision; so that limits some serious physics simming; but if you’re doing that I guess you just rent a gpu somewhere.

I would definitely be into this if adding an egpu was first class supported.

Quite the opposite. There have been moments, when the mission is right, and you are aligned with purpose. You see it in glimpses outside of "jobs" (note I said "work" not jobs).

Why can’t I view GitHub on mobile without having to sign in to the app. I don’t want to sign in to the app; I don’t remember my password; I can’t be bothered to authenticate. Bad UX.

It’s not a mass communication problem per se.

It’s that humans prioritise social instability because it could mean death in, or of, the tribe; the incentive to make sales, as your link alludes to, is the driving force behind co-opting that. If that incentive disappeared I suspect mass communication would not be the problem.
