My only submission will be to consider India, which is fast becoming a hub for medical tourism. You can get any test you want and meet specialists in hours, not even days.

IntelliJ (actually Android Studio based on IntelliJ) was my first real IDE and real programming experience. I was so blown away !

Almost 15 years later, nothing else matches the out of the box experience of IntelliJ, atleast for JVM based languages.

This, I don't think enough people pointed this out. We have been sold the "coding is solved" and "software engineering is over" shit by Anthropic folks for a while now. The discourse should have revolved around claude's capabilities and instead it became a Jared vs Andrew thing.

I kept copying multi-line commands from ChatGPT/Claude/READMEs and getting `command not found` errors when pasting into my terminal. Bracketed paste mode doesn't help — it prevents line-by-line execution, but the content itself still arrives broken (stray `$` prompts, split continuations, operators across lines).

SmartClip hooks into your shell's paste widget (zsh, bash, fish) and silently fixes multi-line commands before the shell sees them. You paste with Cmd+V as usual — no new keybindings, no daemon, no background process.

It uses score-based heuristics to detect shell commands (so it won't mangle your JSON or prose), joins lines intelligently (backslash continuations, pipes, `&&`), strips prompt characters, and validates everything with `bash -n` before inserting. If it's not confident or the fix has invalid syntax, it passes through unchanged.

~150 lines of bash. Zero dependencies.

Slack. Hands down.

No issues with the actual product per se, which is quite nice. But the experience while using Slack goes bad exponentially as the team scales if certain usage guidelines are not put in place.
