I wanted an Android phone without bloatware and ads so my 2 options were OnePlus and Nothing. I ended up buying the OnePlus because I disliked the huge back camera on the Nothing 3a Pro.

Today I'd go for the Bothing 4a/4a Pro.

I understand his comment as being against dumb regulation that only ads unnecessary bureaucracy or stops/limits progress. But he would support a regulation for this because it's a violation against the property of the buyer.

Same thing with storage.

I wanted to upgrade my SSD but prices are more than at the end of 2025. I refuse to pay 500 euro for a 4TB SSD. I rather go outside and play with my bike like when I was 5.

GPT 5.4mini is even worse, from 0.33x to 6x which is ~18 times more expensive now.

So I guess from now on GH Copilot is only worth it if you want a quality autocomplete in VSCode.

I agree with you, that's why I don't like Ubuntu anymore. It's a system you have to fight against, just like Windows.

I was merely saying that you a couple commands you can uninstall snap and disable it from appearing ever again.

I had my tmux customized to the point I forgot how to use it on a clean install which is a problem when I'm sshing into a server.

I wish it had better defaults but now I run it as is. After a while you get used to it. The only thing I always have to change is the mouse scroll and my brain cannot retain the exact command.

Linux was created by an European. And there are many European distros. Even Canonical is European.

But that's besides the point. The point is no company owns linux so you're not tied to big tech even if they are the biggest contributors to the kernel.

I'm using Cloudflare's.

I don't know how this blocking works. A couple minutes ago I could access this link but now I can't. It's happening with another website too. It's like an intermittent blocking today.
