<p>We're actually very happy with Comet and have been using it on v large projects (>50 researchers, 10k models). You can reduce the refresh interval and the amount of data points reported if things feel slow</p>

<p>Why not agree with the terms and boot up an Ubuntu live CD, install chromium and do the tests<p>That way they only get the microphone, webcam and physical location which is annoying but not as worst<p>If you cancel the microphone and the webcam, will they still let you do the test? What if I have a desktop computer with no webcam?</p>
